Paula Hines Lonergan was born in Washington, D.C., raised in Maryland, and relocated to Southern California in 1986. She has done audio and video voiceovers. She does web designing, hosting, and consulting. She has been involved in a community outreach for 18 years.
She is a freelance writer and the creator of the online news series entitled "Commontary On...." and the quarterly magazine, Positivity IN FOCUS. She does speech writing and conducts seminars.
Authoring A Titan of a Man has been a wonderful experience for her. In her own voice, she tells the story about her father, Coach Paul "Doc" Hines. She discusses the "if you don't mind, it don't matter" attitude, he believed in and taught others. By her learning and applying mind over matter, she developed tenacity and determination. She knows the keys to having true happiness and success in life.
She started writing A Titan of a Man on June 10, 2002 and finished it just one month later on July 10. She received many letters (a total of 15) from various publishing companies refusing, albiet politely, to publish her manuscript.
So, in the summer of 2003, she founded her own book publishing company, PRL PUBLISHING. A Titan of a Man was released in October 2003, along with an accompanying working entitled Mind Over Matter Leadership Workbook. Her second Babies Dribble and Drool was released eight months later in June 2004.
She has completed her third book, Felines Shed Fur and Purr, was released (limited) in January 2005.
